The Rohr Chabad Centre for Jewish Life celebrated its 10th anniversary on November 18th, 2018 at the beautiful Walper Hotel downtown, Kitchener, Ontario. The "I Believe" Gala brought together several guests from across Kitchener - Waterloo and beyond who have benefited from the services that the Chabad offers.
Rabbi Moshe Goldman and Rebbetzin Rivky Goldman do so much work for the Jewish Community they wanted a way to celebrate and thank their community for their support of the Chabad over the last ten years.
The cocktail hour took place in the Lokal Lounge with appetizers prepared by TWH Social Chefs. The gala took place in the Crystal Ballroom at the Walper Hotel and the Culinary Director at Graffiti Market, Brian McCourt prepared the salad and the entree. It was very exciting to see local chefs prepare kosher meals for the first time.
The gala recognized three people who have exemplified leadership in the Jewish Community with Youth Leadership, Legacy of Life, and Community Builder awards. The attendees were also able to enjoy live music from Tenor Shlomo Simcha of Toronto. Following the entertainment, Holocaust survivor, Cantor Moshe Kraus gave a very inspiring speech to all the gala attendees.
It was an amazing night of support for the Jewish Community and we were so honored to be part of this wonderful event.
