My husband and I got married this past Summer in Bayfield. While we were under the impression that a cottage wedding would be simple and easy to plan, we soon learned getting married and having a reception on your own property is A LOT of work. Thankfully a few months into planning, a friend recommended we speak to Jessica at Bonafide Events Studio. Having been planning my ‘dream wedding’ for years, I was worried about handing over my vision to someone else but Jessica immediately understood the look and feel we wanted. She immediately created a to-do list and wedding planning timeline for us, and walked us through the next year of planning, setting up and attending all of our vendor meetings. As we got closer to the wedding day, Jessica became more and more invaluable. Being a somewhat anxious person, I sent Jessica at least two texts a day with varying worries, questions, etc. She was always very quick to respond and incredibly helpful. Our wedding was definitely a real test for Jessica. Two weeks before the wedding, everything started to go wrong (none of it to do with Jessica), the caterers forgot to book a tent, the bakery gave our customized cake labels and spoons to another couple, and the list goes on. Somehow Jessica managed to handle everything and get things back on track. The day of our wedding was literally perfect. Everything ran completely smoothly (Jessica had a very detailed timeline of the entire day which she gave to each vendor as well as our bridal party). The best part of the day (other than marrying my husband), was seeing my vision come together perfectly. Jessica made sure no detail was missed and worked hard both the day before and the day of the wedding setting everything up. I would not have made it through the wedding planning process without Jessica’s help and, honestly, can’t recommend her and Bonafide Events Studio enough.
